5. Safety instructions

Temperature controller / limiter are allowed to be used only within the
designated application.
The device may only be operated in undamaged condition.
It is not admissible to open the enclosure lid while energized.
Cutting through or kinging the capillary will lead to permanent failure.
When routing the capillary ensure a bending radius of ≥ 5mm.
Liquid may escape in the event of a bulb/capillary fracture.
While occurrence of „Hybrid mixtures" the suitability has to be checked by an
relevant specialist agency.
Electrical connection must be done only by qualified staff. National regulations must
be observed at all times.

6. Assembly

When installing & operating electrical plants in hazardous areas the installation & operation
instructions must be observed at all times (e.g. BetrSichV, IEC/EN60079-14,
and national regulations).
Please note the information marked on the label of the product and in the EC type-
examination certificate. Further information can be found in the Quintex product data
sheets and as indicated on the product.
Modification of components is not permitted.
The assembling with connecting and/or series-terminals must be carried out taking into
account the corresponding data of the EC-type examination certificate. Connections must
be carried out carefully, so that the individual wires are not damaged.
When connecting stranded or flexible conductors, the conductor ends must be suitably
crimped.
The attaching of boot lace ferrules or crimps must always be made with special crimping
tools in order to achieve a constant quality of the compression. All terminal screws,
