Es werden zwei Versionen angeboten:
- mobile Version mit Filzoberfläche,
- Installationsversion mit Lackoberfläche.
Dieses Datenblatt beschreibt beide Versionen.
Die Lautsprecherbox ist mit zwei 18-Zoll-
Langhub-Systemen bestückt. Das Zwei-Kam-
mer-Bandpaß System weist eine außerge-
wöhnlich hohe Empfindlichkeit von ca. 103 dB
(1W, 1m) zwischen 40 und 120 Herz auf. Es
erlaubt bei 2000 Watt peak Belastbarkeit höhe-
re Schallpegel als vergleichbare Bassreflex-
oder Hornsysteme.
Ausgelegt für feste Installationen in Theatern,
Hallen und Discotheken wird das Gehäuse aus
25 mm MDF gefertigt und weist weder Griffe
noch Schutzecken oder Rollen auf.
Eine Roadversion aus Multiplex mit grauem
Filzbezug, vier Schalengriffen und 100 mm
Rollen (auf Wunsch) wird ebenfalls angeboten.
Das Gehäuse ist ausschließlich ohne gesund-
heitlich bedenkliche Mineralwolle gedämpft.
Als Ergänzung zu hochwertigen Anlagen wird
ein tiefes, druckvolles Baßfundament geboten,
daß auch Musiksignale wie "Techno" und an-
dere moderne Musikstile wirkungsvoll unter-
stützt.
Das System wird mit einer Tiefpaßtrennung
von optimal 100 Herz eingesetzt und sollte
nicht ohne Subsonic Hochpaßfilter betrieben
werden. Hierzu wird als aktive Stereo-Zwei-
wegweiche die SYRINCS SX-24 mit speziellen
SYRINCS-Steckmodulen angeboten. Diese
Steckmodule sind auch bei HERTZ
fen der Serie Linear 7.x anwendbar und ma-
chen eine aktive Weiche überflüssig.
Neben der Verwendung mit dem Satelliten
SPIRIT-212, Quader-12 oder dem kompletten
SPS-3 oder MPA-1 System besteht die Mög-
lichkeit, den Subwoofer auch bei vielen ande-
ren Applikationen zu verwenden.
Description:
The EUROSUB-1 loudspeaker system (2x18"-
woofer) is a subwoofer of the beta product
group. It is designed with the SYRINCS LAR-
GE SIGNAL TECHNOLOGY and offers excel-
lent bass reproduction, low distortion and high
efficiency. Its name marks the design, which is
conform to an euro-pallet (1.2 x 0.8 m) with a
height of 0.80m. As an exceptional subwoofer-
system it was made for cost efficient large si-
gnal bass reproduction and optimised use of
truckspace.

The system is equipped with two 18 inch long-
excursion chassis with 1200 W
power handling. The two-chamber bandpass
enclosure has an exceptional high sensitivity
of about 103 dB (1 W, 1m) between 40 and
120 Hz. It gives higher SPL at 2000 W peak
power than conventional subwoofers.
For permanent installation the enclosure is ma-
de of 25 mm medium density fiber board
(MDF) and has no handles, protective corners
or wheels.
A roadversion, made of multiplex wood with
gray felt, four bar handles and
100 mm wheels is also available.
The front is protected by a steel grill. The en-
closure is explicit damped without any mineral
wool in respect of the danger resulting from
this material.
As a supplement to high quality systems, you
will get a powerfull bass basement with a low
cutoff frequency, which will effectivly support
modern music stiles like Techno and others.
The system has an optimised performance
with a cutoff at 100 Hz and should not be used
without subsonic filter. We recommend the
SYRINCS SX-24 stereo crossover with special
SYRINCS plug-in-modules. These modules
are also usable with HERTZ

Along with the SYRINCS systems like the SPI-
RIT-212, Quader-12 loudspeaker or the com-
plete SPS-3 or MPA-1 system, the subwoofer
can also be used in many other applications.
