8. Adjustment
Any HAZET torque wrench must be checked
and readjusted regularly. We recommend this
after approximately every 5000 operations, but in
any case at the latest every six months. For this
purpose you may use a HAZET tester.
Should no suitable tester with click point
recog nition be available, then you should take
your HAZET torque wrench to your specialist
dealer who will have it checked and adjusted at
the factory.
9. Service
We recommend re-certification
(recalibration) after a long peri-
od of use. Torque wrenches
and torque testers are meas-
uring instruments. Measuring
instruments
checked at intervals speci-
fied by Quality Management
using suitable test equipment
and should be readjusted as
required. The interval between
tests depends
frequency of use.
HAZET can offer suitable test equipment. HAZET
torque wrenches and HAZET torque testers sent
back to HAZET are returned after checking and
any adjustment with a new test certificate.
Torque testers used by HAZET are regularly
controlled by the German calibrating service (DKD)
and are recalibrated as necessary. This ensures
that the necessary competence in the field of
controlled screw tightening as well as the high
quality of HAZET torque tools are always available.
All HAZET Plug and Socket Torque Wrenches of
the series 6391 and 6392 can be calibrated and
certified with any insert tool of your choice.
