19. The plug on the connecting cable must be
inserted into a socket that accords with
regulations.
20. Always disconnect the mains cable from the
power network before carrying out any cleaning,
servicing or maintenance work.
21. Always use suitable extension cables.
22. Only connect to a power network that is fitted
with leakage current protection equipment.
23. Only persons who are familiar with the machine
and who have been instructed in the possible
hazards may operate, service or repair it.
24. Remove all jewellery when working close to
electrical components.
25. Only use original replacement and accessory
parts. No liability is accepted for similar parts
from other manufacturers.
26. When performing cleaning and servicing work,
ensure that authoritative regulations applicable
to the particular location regarding the correct
handling of oils, fats, acids, alkalis, fuels and
other similar agents are obeyed.
27. Observe the regulations applicable to your
location when disposing of old machines or their
components.
28. Do not clean the machine with a high-pressure
cleaner.
Gasoline model
29. Use only fuel, fuel mixture and engine oil as
recommended by the manufacturer.
Danger!
30. Do not touch high-tension cables while engine
is running.
31. Do not touch the spark-plug cap.
32. Fire hazard! Always turn the machine off when
filing up
33. Do not use open flames when manipulating
internal combustion engines
34. Poisoning hazard! Do not use machines with
internal combustion
spaces.
35. Burning hazard! Do not touch the exhaust pipe.
1. Preparing the Machine
1. Check the cutters and cutting rotor for wear,
and if necessary replace with new parts
2. Use appropriate dust removal equipment
2. Correct working position
1. Adjust the control bar at the correct working
position
3. Turning the Electric Model on / off
1. Insert the mains plug.
2. Do not lay the connecting cable in intended
work direction.
3. Unwind the connecting cable completely from
the drum.
4. Switching on

(A) Mains switch on "ON"
•
(B) Hold the dead man's switch
•
(C) Press the green button
•
(D) Lower the milling rotor

7. Fitting the milling cutters
When using milling cutters, always:
•
Check equipment
•
The cutting faces of the milling cutters
should always point forwards in the
working direction
•
Pay attention to the direction of rotation of
the rotor
•
The cutting faces must strike the ground
8. Fitting the star wheel cutters
• Danger of jamming!
• The space between the star wheel cutters
and the shims should not be larger than
the thickness of the shims.
