Maintenance and care:

The surface is pre-treated on delivery. The pre-treatment provides
protection only against insect infestation and cannot permanently
protect your item from the adverse effects of the weather. To ensure
weather resistance the wood must be covered with a protective coat
of varnish, a suitable paint or other similar means. Consult a specialist
shop to find out which protective products are available to you. Make
sure that this protective product is not harmful to your (domestic)
animal!
You have purchased a natural product made of wood, this "may wear
out" over time. Natural cracks, material expansions or similar can
occur, this is a natural process and not a reason for complaint. Check
this at regular intervals. Even with the best paint, moisture could
penetrate into the wood and damage your product, it could mold and
rot.
We assume no warranty claims for consequential damage resulting
from lack of maintenance and care.
Disposal:
Once item end-of-life, please dispose valuable raw materials for a proper recycling. If
you are not sure how to handle it in a correct way please contact your local disposal or
recycling centers for advice.
