Description
The studio adapter MS 14 P supplies Sennheiser
electret microphones and grip+powering modules
from studio supply units for 12 V - 48 V phantom
powering. Microphon!"s MKE 2 R, MKE 10,
MKE 10 R,MKE 40, MKE 40 R, MKE 42, MKE 212
and grip+powering module K 30 AV may all be
supplied by the adapter.
Losses in signal level,which occur inside the adapter,
are counterbalanced bya built-in preamplifier.
A further interesting application of MS 14 P is the
use together with screw-on microphones
MKE 2010, MKE 4010, MKE
2012
or MKE 4012,
with which a s'mall easy-to handle microphone can
quite simply be built (Fig. 1).
Supplied with the adapter is the clip MZA 5 S, with
which the MS 14 P can be simply attached, when
used with a clip-on microphone (Fig.2).
Connection hints
Should the microphone connecting cable not be
sufficiently long, it can be extended by 7.5 m with
extension cable MZV 10. This cable mayaiso be
used as a connection between grip+powering
module K 30 AVand MS 14 P.A further possible
application of the MZV 10 is in conjunction with
a screw-on microphone MKE 4010 or MKE 4012.
If suspended from the ceiling an almost invisible
microphone is thus created for e. g. group
discussion purposes.
