Pflege - Teak, Innenanwendung
Ihr neues Skagerak Produkt ist unbehandelt. Möchten Sie
die natürliche Farbe des Holzes bewahren oder noch ver-
stärken, so sollte es z.B. mit Öl behandelt werden.
Die Ölbehandlung ist laufend nach Bedarf zu wiederholen.
Reinigung - Teak, Innenanwendung
Die laufende Reinigung erfolgt mit Naturseife Natur, die das
Holz reinigt und es mit einer schützenden Seifenschicht
versieht. Naturseife wird auf unbehandelten und geölten
Flächen eingesetzt. De Grundreinigung erfolgt mit Skagerak
Intensivreiniger. Danach kann das Holz erneut mit Öl
behandelt werden. Holz erneut mit Öl behandelt werden.

Ihr neues Skagerak Produkt ist unbehandelt. Wenn Sie
diese Farbe erhalten und/oder verstärken möchten, ist eine
Grundbehandlung mit Skagerak Möbelöl er forderlich. Die
Ölbehandlung ist laufend nach Bedarf zu wiederholen. Wird
das Holz nicht regelmäßig geölt, so patiniert es mit der Zeit
und erhält eine silbergraue Oberfläche. In beiden Fällen
bleibt das Holz widerstandsfähig gegen Fäule und Pilzbefall
– nur das Aussehen ist unterschiedlich.

Teak grows in South-east Asia and is a heavy, hard and stur-
dy type of wood. Its high content of natural impregnating
oils makes teak highly resistant to rot and fungus.
This makes teak an ideal material for furniture and everyday
household articles that are used both outdoors and in.
The surface of new teak products may vary in colour and
shading. These differences will decrease after the wood has
been used and exposed to sunlight for a while.
Your new table with rubber jointing is ideal for both outdoor
and indoor use. Please note, however, that the joints can
be damaged if you repeatedly alternate between using the
table outdoors and indoors.
The moisture content and thus the size of the wood will
vary from one season to another when the product is used
outdoors and indoors. This will cause the widths of the
joints to vary, which is exactly what happens to the deck of
a ship in a maritime environment.
We use a flexible rubber-joint filler that usually absorbs the
movements of the wooden staves caused by the wood's
moisture content which fluctuates during the course of the
time of year. In special instances, gaps and cracks can form
between the joint filler and the wood. This is called "filler
gaping". Should this occur, please contact the shop where
you purchased the product. The shop will see to it that
the rubber joint is repaired. This can be done in your own
home. Skagerak Denmark A/S does not consider cracking
or gaps in joints to be a justified reason for replacing the
product.

Das Produkt ist regelmäßig mit Holzreiniger Aussen zu
behandeln, der die Ölbehandlung intakt erhält. Sieht
das Holz verwittert und mitgenommen aus, so ist eine
Grundreinigung mit Teakreiniger vorzunehmen. Nach
dieser Behandlung ist die Oberfläche ungeschützt. Daher
ist nachfolgend eine Behandlung mit Möbelöl erforderlich.
Reinigung und Pflege - rostfreier Stahl, innen und
außenanwendung
Wir verarbeiten Stahl des Typs AISI 304, der kugelgestrahlt
wurde. Dieses Verfahren erhöht die Festigkeit des Stahls in
den Schweißungen und macht die Oberfläche witterungs-
beständiger. Beim Einsatz im Freien kann der Stahl jedoch
anlaufen.
Dies schadet dem Stahl nicht und lässt sich mit einem
Scheuerschwamm entfernen.
Für die normale Reinigung ist ein ausgewrungener
Lappen, eventuell mit etwas Spülmittel, zu benutzen. Die
Instandhaltung erfolgt mit dem mitgelieferten Putzmittel
Gleerustol, das den Stahl vor Anlaufen und Flugrost
schützt.
Die Pflege erfolgt laufend nach Bedarf.

Das Produkt ist in einer Abfallsammelstelle zu entsorgen.

Care instructions - Teak, indoor use
Your new Skagerak product is untreated. If you wish to
preserve and/or highlight the natural colour of the wood,
treat it with oil. The oil treatment should be repeated at
regular intervals as needed.
Cleaning - Teak, indoor use
For regular cleaning use Natural soap which both cleans
the wood and adds a protective layer of soap. Natural soap
is used on untreated and oiled surfaces alike. For basic
cleaning use wood cleaner. After basic cleaning, re-treat
the wood with oil.
Care instructions - Teak, outdoor use
Your new Skagerak product is untreated. If you wish to
preserve and/or intensify this colour, the wood must be
given a primer treatment using Skagerak Furniture Oil. The
oil treatment should be repeated at regular intervals as
needed. If the product is not oiled regularly, the surface will
change colour over time and turn silvery grey. Either way,
the wood will still be resistant to rot and fungus – all that
will change is its appearance.
