C.A.S. II interior display manual
The C.A.S. II interior display shows the status of the alarm system inside the vehicle in an optical and
acoustical way. It also serves as an interior siren and as a signal repeater, which forwards the signals of the
wireless accessories to the main unit.
1. Mounting
-Choose an appropriate mounting location from which the display is visible suiciently.
-Please be aware that the bright shining display can be bothering when it is mounted in the sleeping room.
-Take care the a cable with permanent power is available at the mounting location.
-Drill a hole of 17mm diameter at the mounting location and put through the power cable.
-Use the self adhesive pad on the backside to ix the interior display on a lat surface.
2. First time operation
At delivery the memory of the interior display is empty. That means it must be linked up to the
C.A.S. II main unit irst. Therefore please proceed as described below.
1.
Connect the interior display to an appropriate power supply (12V).
Make sure it supplies permanent power to the interior display.
brown: +12V
blue:
GND
Utilize a fuse (3A)

After applying power to the interior display, it lashes blue (memory empty).

Now utilize any of the handheld transmitters buttons. That causes the C.A.S. main unit to
transmitt its serial number to the interior display. The interior display stores the serial number and is
now used to identify each other.
!Only use a handheld transmitter which is allready linked up with the C.A.S. main unit!

After linking up sucessfully, the interior display will shine according to the status of the
C.A.S alarm system.
