BEFORE FIRST USE
• Take the appliance carefully out of the box and remove all packaging and safety material.
• Open the base lid and remove the electricity cable from the interior compartment. Unwind the cable fully and lay it
through the cable duct on the outside.
• If you would like to connect the appliance to a mains socket, ensure that the set-up switch on the interior cable
compartment is set onto AC (mains operation).
• If you would like to operate the appliance with batteries, place the eight 1.5V type C batteries (babycell) into the
battery compartment on the base of the appliance and set the set-up switch in the interior cable compartment onto
DC (battery operation).
• Then close the base lid and place the appliance on a flat, stable surface.
• Before first use and inserting CDs, the protective insert must be removed from the CD compartment.
