Program characteristics

Program 1:

When set to Program 1, the »T-sign« will react relatively quickly to changes in the magnetic
field strength of a present loop. This can be of advantage e.g. in a teaching situation where
the speaker is interested in knowing that the correct microphone settings are used.

Program 2:

In Program 2, the »T-sign« reacts more slowly to changes in magnetic field strength.
This is practical e.g. in situations where you don't have the possibility to directly adjust the
level of the outgoing signal to the hearing loop. It is also useful for indicating that the hearing
loop is functioning at a basic level.

The time values stated above are approximations and based on a 1 kHz signal with a 3
dB step below or above the threshold.
When using »T-sign« for speech, the time values will vary depending on the characteris-
tics and intensity of the signal.
