5.4 Diode Measurement
 Insert the black test lead into the negative COM terminal and the red
test lead into the positive V terminal.
 Set the function switch to Ω
 Select the diode mode with the MODE button.
 Connect the test leads with the diode to be measured. The forward
voltage will indicate 0.4V ~ 0.7V. Reverse voltage will indicate "OL".
Shorted devices will indicate near 0mV and an open device will indicate
"OL" in both polarities.

5.5 Data Hold Function

 Press HOLD to freeze the value onto the display. Press again to resume
normal operation.
5.6 MAX Hold
 Press MAX to freeze the highest value onto the display. Press again to
resume normal operation.
5.7 Manual Ranging
 Press the RANGE button to set the range manually. Press and hold the
button to return to the auto ranging mode.

 Remove the screws using an appropriate Philips head screwdriver.
 Replace the batteries with 2 x AAA batteries.
 Reassemble the meter before use.
