HANDLING PRECAUTIONS

This product incorporates precision electronic parts.
Handle it carefully by using caution in the following points.
Avoid exposure to a high temperature or to direct sunlight.
Do not attempt to bend the PC card or subject it to a strong
impact.
Do not moisten the PC card.
Do not touch the connector directly by hand, etc.
1. CHECKING THE OPERATING
ENVIRONMENT
The PC card is a card for use in expanding the functionality of a
computer, established based on an international standard devel-
oped jointly by the JEIDA (Japan Electronic Industry Development
Association) and PCMCIA (Personal Computer Memory Card In-
ternational Association). The previous standard corresponding to
the new PC card standard was "PCMCIA Rel. 2.1/JEIDA Ver. 4.2".

1. A personal computer which has a TYPE II or TYPE III PC card
slot in compliance with the "PCMCIA Rel. 2.1/JEIDA Ver. 4.2"
and "PC Card Standard".

1-2. Applicable Media

See "Applicable Media" in Section 5, "Specifications".
Use only for compatible OS. Otherwise, files may be destroyed.
Hereafter, the term "Memory Card" will be used to refer to both SD
Memory Cards and MultiMediaCards.
