Do not overfi ll the pan.
Beware of fat splashes and steam from the
pan. Always lift the lid tilted so that the
steam is let out furthest away from you.
Ensure that the fat or oil in the pan does not
ignite. If this happens, put the lid on the pan
to smother the fi re. NEVER try to extinguish a
fat fi re in the pan by pouring water into it, as
this may cause the burning fat or oil to spray
out uncontrollably from the pan.
Avoid exposing the thermostat unit to
impacts or shocks, as this may damage it,
causing it to become inaccurate.
The temperature selector must always be set
to position 0 before it is inserted or removed
from the pan.
Do not pull the cord to remove the
thermostat unit. Instead take hold of the
thermostat unit and pull it out of the pan.
