• Insert the lint container (6) if necessary.
• Do not remove the protective cap of the device. Remove the mains lead if you would
like to run the device on the batteries.
Turn the protective cap to select the cutting length.
• Press the I switch (1) to turn on the device. Then position the shearing blade with the
entire surface in contact in order to remove the lint. Press the O switch (1) to turn the
device off.
NOTE:
Depending on the quantity of lint it is advisable from time to time to clean the device
thoroughly, as described below under „cleaning".
CAUTION:
Do not use the device for more than 10 minutes. Allow the equipment to cool down for 10
minutes, before using it again.
The regular cleaning and maintenance of the machine will guarantee optimal results and a
long life.
• Switch the device off with the O/I on/off switch and pull out the plug.
• Use only a slightly damp and soft cloth to clean the machine.

• Whenever you have used the device you should remove the lint with a cleaning brush.
• Pull the protective cap off carefully. Remove the shaving head (4) by turning it in an
anticlockwise direction. Then remove the shaving blade (5) located below it.
Caution, do not touch the shaving foil or the blades of the shaving head with your fi ngers!
• After cleaning, attach the shearing blade to the holder and turn the shaving head until it
is tight. Replace the protective cap, noting the recesses on the edge.
• Clean the lint container regularly.
• Do not immerse the device in water.
