I. Attach antennas (see image I)
• Connect the rod antennas included in the package or an outdoor/rooftop antenna to the
antenna jacks of the PCTV Dual DVB-T Diversity Stick Solo.
Note: If you would like to use the rod antennas included in the package, place them as
high as possible and as close as possible to the window.
Reception is dependent on location and can be affected by thick or steel-reinforced
walls as well as neighboring buildings. In such environments, an outdoor/roof antenna
is required.
In order to prevent possible damage from the magnetic field of the antenna foot, make
sure that there is enough space between it and your hard drives and other
magnetically-sensitive components.
Antenna Diversity function: The PCTV Dual DVB-T Diversity Stick Solo has
integrated logic that combines the signals of the two antennas into one signal. This
produces significantly better reception than with only one antenna, also when reception
is poor. To use the Diversity function optimally, place the antennas about 1-2 feet from
each other.
Note that the Diversity function does not receive two different stations at the same
time.
II. Computer connection (see image II)
• Plug the PCTV Dual DVB-T Diversity Stick Solo into one of your PC USB 2.0 ports.
III. Software installation
If the "Add new hardware" dialog window appears during installation, press cancel.
• Insert the installation disc in the corresponding drive of your computer. If you have
Autorun enabled, the Welcome dialog will be displayed automatically. If you do not have
Autorun enabled, navigate to your DVD drive and double-click on Launcher.exe.
From the Welcome dialog select: TVCenter Pro and then proceed by following the
instructions provided by the setup program.
