Inserting/changing batteries
Motion detector
1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the mo-
tion detector. Push the locking mechanism towards
the battery compartment lid and pull it off.
2. Insert the batteries. You will need 4 x 1.5 V type AA
batteries. Make sure the polarity (+/-) is correct.
3. Return the battery compartment cover to its previous
position and push it closed so that it audibly locks
into place.
You can also use the motion detector with a mains
adapter. It is not included in the product contents.
Make sure the mains voltage is correct (DC 6 V
Remote control
1. Screw open the back of the remote control.
2. Remove the lid.
3. Insert the batteries. You will need 3 x 1.5 V type LR44/
AG13 batteries. Make sure the polarity (+/-) is cor-
rect.
4. Put the lid on and screw it back into place.
At regular intervals, check whether the batteries still
have suffi cient power.
Positioning
You can set up the motion detector in a suitable
position or use the hanging fi xture to hang it on
the wall.
