ADJUSTMENT OF CHAIN TENSION
1. Slightly loosen the chain tensioner knob by turning it counterclockwise.
2. To increase the chain tension, turn the chain tensioner adjusting ring clockwise and check the chain
tension frequently. To reduce chain tension, turn the chain tension adjusting ring of the chain tensioner
counterclockwise and check the chain tension frequently.
3. The chain tension is correct when the gap between the chain cutter and the sword is between 3mm and
4mm. Pull the chain in the middle of the bottom side of the sword down (away from the sword) and
measure the distance between the sword and the chain cutters.
4. Tighten the chain tensioner knob by turning it clockwise.
