OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

INSERTING BATTERIES

1. Open the battery compartment cover located in the bottom part (Fig. 1).
2. Insert 4 AA batteries in the battery compartment, and replace the cover
carefully. We recommend using alkaline batteries.
WEIGHING
1. Put the unit on a stable horizontal surface.
2. Push the ON/OFF button to switch the unit on. All segments will be
displayed for 2 seconds (Fig. 2).
3. If you need to reset the display, press the TARE button for 2 seconds.
4. If 0 value is displayed, you can switch between measuring units by pushing
the TARE button: g (grams), kg (kilograms), oz (ounces) or lb (pounds).
5. Put the food you want to weigh on the surface (Fig. 3). Put the objects on
the weighing surface in an even manner, do not put anything on the edges.
The result could be inaccurate, and there is a risk of falling.
6. If you are making up full weight, or need to eliminate the weight of the
vessel used, push the TARE button for 2 seconds to reset the displayed
value.
7. After the weighing is finished, switch the unit off by pushing ON/OFF; the
unit will switch off automatically after 2 minutes.
OTHER INFORMATION ON THE DISPLAY
If the Lo warning is displayed after switching on (Fig. 4), or there is nothing on
the display, the batteries are dead and have to be replaced. Always replace all
the batteries, do not combine new and old batteries.
