OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

INSERTING BATTERIES

1. Open the battery compartment cover located in the bottom section.
2. Insert 2 AAA batteries in the battery compartment, and replace the cover
carefully. Use alkaline batteries!
SELECTION OF WEIGHING UNITS
Press the UNIT symbol to select weight units g, lb, oz (gram, pound, ounce).
WEIGHING
1. Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal surface.
2. Push the ON/OFF/ZERO (2) button to switch on the appliance.
3. If you need to reset the display reading (3), press the ON/ZERO/OFF button (2).
4. Place the food or container with food you wish to weigh on the weighing surface (1). Load the weighing surface (1)
evenly, and do not put anything on the edges. Otherwise, the weighing result might be inaccurate, and there would
be the risk of falling.
5. If you are making up the full weight, or need to eliminate the weight of the vessel used (the tare function), push the
ON/OFF/ZERO (2) button to reset the displayed reading (3).
6. When the weighing is finished, switch the appliance off by pressing and holding down the ON/OFF/ZERO (2) button,
or the appliance will switch off automatically after 2 minutes.
WEIGHING OF LIQUIDS (VOLUME INDICATION)
The appliance allows weighing liquids with an indication of volume in ml.
Press the UNIT and MODE button during weighing to indicate the volume of liquid in ml.
