Design features of the power tool
Temperature protection
Temperature protection automatically switches off the
power tool if the temperature of battery 6 exceeds 70°C
This protects the power tool from damage if the operat-
ing conditions are not complied with
Overdischarge protection
The battery 6 is protected by the safety system against
deep discharge In case of complete discharge, the
power tool is automatically switched off Attention: do
not try to switch on the power tool when the protec-
tion system is activated the battery 6 can be dam-
aged.
Indicators of the state of battery charge (see
fig. 4.6, 6.6)
With the push of the button 12 the indicators 13 show
the state of charge of the battery 6 (see fig. 46, 66)
Swivel head (see fig. 7.1)
Swivel head 1 can be rotated relative to body 3 (angle
of rotation is 180°), as shown in figure 7.1.
Body rotation (see fig. 7.2-7.3)
Body 3 can be rotated (angle of rotation 90°), as shown
in figure 7.3.
• Press and hold lock button 4 (see fig. 7.2).
• Turn body 3 (see fig. 7.3).
• Release lock button 4 (see fig. 7.2).
Recommendations on the power tool op-
eration
• Ensure that the use of the power tool will not cause
violation of the safety regulations (see above)
• The minimum distance between the power tool and
the illuminated surfaces must be at least 0,2m (see
fig. 8). Otherwise there is a danger of heating the
illuminated objects, which can cause a fire.
• Turning swivel head 1 and body 3, you can choose
the position which is the most convenient for work
• Turn on the power tool You can either hold the power
tool in your hand, or hang it by belt clip 5 (for example,
on the belt), or install it on horizontal surfaces
• After use, turn off the power tool, wait a while for it
to cool, and then put it in storage It is recommended
to store the power tool with the battery dis-
connected
Power tool maintenance / preventive
measures
Battery maintenance instruction
• Charge timely before the battery 6 is completely
exhausted Stop operation in low power and charge
it immediately
The manufacturer reserves the possibility to introduce changes.
• Do not overcharge when the battery 6 is full, other-
wise it will shorten the life time
• Charge battery 6 in the room temperature of 10°C
to 40°C (50°F to 104°F)
• Charge battery 6 every 6 months without operation
for a long time
• Replace worn out batteries in time Decline of pro-
duction or a significantly shorter runtime of the power
tool after charging indicates aging of the battery 6 and
the need for replacement It should be taken into ac-
count that the battery 6 may discharge faster if the
works take place in the temperature below 0°С.
• In case of long time storage without use, it is recom-
mended to store the battery 6 at room temperature, it
should be charged to 50%
Cleaning of the power tool
An indispensable condition for a safe long-term exploi-
tation of the power tool is to keep it clean
