 Turn the top panel's VOL/PWR knob clockwise to turn on the radio.
 Turn the top panel's CH selector knob to choose the desired operating
channel.
 Rotate the VOL/PWR knob to set the desired audio level.
If no signal is present, press and hold in the MONITOR key; background
noise will now be heard, and you may use this to set the VOL/PWR knob
for the desired audio level. Press and hold in the MONITOR key to quiet
the noise and resume normal (Quiet) monitoring.
 To transmit, press and hold in the PTT switch. Speak into the microphone
area of the front panel grille in a normal voice level. To return to the Re-
ceive mode, release the PTT switch.
 Press (or press and hold in) the Programmable key to activate the func-
tion which is corresponding with that key.
 Turn the top panel's VOL/PWR knob fully counter clockwise to turn off the
radio.

 Gire el mando de VOLUMEN/ENCENDIDO-APAGADO situado en el panel
superior en el sentido de las agujas del reloj para encender el transceptor.
 Gire el mando de SELECCIÓN DE CANAL situado en el panel superior
para seleccionar el canal de funcionamiento deseado.
 Gire el mando de VOLUMEN/ENCENDIDO-APAGADO para establecer el
nivel de audio deseado.
Si no hay señal, mantenga pulsada la tecla de MONITORIZACIÓN.
De esa forma, escuchará ruido de fondo, que podrá utilizar para estable-
cer el volumen deseado mediante el mando de VOLUMEN/ENCENDIDO-
APAGADO. Mantenga pulsada la tecla de MONITORIZACIÓN para
desactivar el ruido y comenzar la monitorización normal (silenciosa).
 Para transmitir, mantenga pulsado el interruptor PTT. Hable a la zona del
micrófono situada en la rejilla del panel frontal con un volumen de voz
normal. Para volver al modo de recepción, suelte el interruptor PTT.
 Pulse (o mantenga pulsada) la tecla PROGRAMABLE para activar la
función que corresponda a dicha tecla.
 Gire el mando de VOLUMEN/ENCENDIDO-APAGADO situado en el
panel superior en el sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj para apagar el
transceptor.

 Sur la face supérieure, tournez l'interrupteur Marche/Arrêt-Volume dans
le sens horaire pour allumer votre radio.
 Sur la face supérieure, tournez le sélecteur de canaux (CH) pour choisir le
canal requis.
 Réglez le niveau audio en tournant le bouton Marche/Arrêt-Volume.
En l'absence de signal, maintenez la touche ÉCOUTE. Vous entendez
le bruit de fond et vous pouvez l'utiliser comme référence pour régler le

 Zum Einschalten des Funkgeräts drehen Sie den EIN/AUS/Lautstärke-
regler oben am Gerät im Uhrzeigersinn.
 Stellen Sie den gewünschten Betriebskanal durch Drehen des Kanalwahl-
schalters oben am Gerät ein.
 Stellen Sie die gewünschte Lautstärke für die Tonausgabe durch entspre-
chendes Drehen des EIN/AUS/Lautstärkeregler ein.
