4. Disposal
Disposal of Packaging
Dispose of packaging sorted by materials. Dispose of paper and cardboard in
waste paper recycling, packaging films in an approved disposal system.
Disposal of old appliances
Remove battery before disposing of the torch. (Applicable to the European Union and
all European countries with approved systems of separate collection of waste and
recyclables).
Old appliances may not be disposed of in the household waste!
In case the torch cannot be used any longer, any customer is requested by law to
dispose of the old appliance, sorted from the household waste, in an approved
disposal system. This procedure ensures old appliances are recycled in a profes-
sional manner, and negative consequences for the environment are prevented.
Thus, electrical appliances are labelled with the symbol shown above.
Do not dispose of batteries or rechargeable batteries in the household waste!
Any customer is requested by law to dispose of old batteries ore old recharge-
able batteries, regardless of containing contaminants* or not, in an approved
disposal system in order to ensure environmentally sensible disposal.
* labelled with: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead
Declaration of Conformity
The EU Declaration of Conformity can be requested from the address given at the
end of this manual.
Unscrew the rear part of the torch
for this.
As the torch is made from very sturdy aluminium,
you can use it as well as a hammer in case
of emergency.
