Installation

Supply
Hot water temperature
Operating pressure
If operating pressures exceed 75 PSI (5 BAR), the use of a pressure
reducer is recommended.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:
Before starting assembly operations, bleed the pipes of hot and cold
water to prevent dirt or other impurities from affecting the operation
of the tap.
ATTENTION!
Before connecting the components, mind that all the grub screws
have to be taken out, all the O-rings have to be lubricated and the seal
seats have to be free from impurities and/or deposits.
INSTALLATION OF THE PILLAR LOWER END AND OF THE
DIVERTER UNIT fig. A:
Remove the protection of the built-in body (38), previously installed
to the floor as per our specifications of figure D. With the help of the
flange (34) indicate the position of the holes (Ø8) with a pencil.
Make the holes matching the sign done with the pencil, make sure
not do damage the supply tubes.
Put the plugs (36) in the holes (Ø8).
Pre-mount the flange (34) on the pillar lower end (30) making sure
no to scratch the surface of the pillar bath system, screw and fix the
ring nut (37) to the threaded nipple (28). Proceed with the supply
connections (29), be careful not to damage O-rings, insert the sup-
ply tubes observing the coloration, red for hot water, blue for clod
water, insert the shaped flange (32) in the special seat of the tubes
ends, then fix everything with the fixing nut (31).
Before fixing the flange (34), it is advisable to use a sealant (silico-
ne), in such a way to grant a good insulation of the holes before crea-
ted. The flange (34) is provided with a special groove in its lower
part, apt to receive the sealant.
Position the flange (34) matching its holes with the ones on the floor,
point the screws (33) record the position of the pillar bath system
following your needs, then screw the screws (33), thus to grant the
steadiness of the pillar bath system.
Proceed inserting the diverter unit (9) in the mixer seat (21) making
sure not to damage the O-rings (20) in order not to compromise the
wet seal. Record the lining of the diverter (9) compared with the sin-
gle-lever (21), fix the unit with the grub screw (22) with the help of
an allen spanner Es. 2.5 mm.
ATTENTION!
Verify the correct position of the guide ring (19), which has to be in
a right position to receive the grub screw (22), the split of the ring
(19) has to coincide with the inlet of the grub screw (22).
COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION fig. B :
Once the pillar lower end has been fixed, you can proceed with the
connection of the spout (4).
Insert the nipple (6) in the seat of the diverter unit (9) pay attention
not to damage the O-rings (7), point the grub screw (10) of the diver-
ter unit (9).
To complete the installation, just record the alignment and fix all the
parts that had been assembled before. Align the diverter unit (9) 90°
compared with the handle (21), fix the grub screw (22) with a span-
ner Es. 2.5mm, align the shower arm (4) following your needs com-
pared with the handle (21), then fix with the grub screw (10) using
the same spanner (Es. 2.5mm).
To complete the installation, connect the spray hose (16) to the
diverter junction (14), placing the washer (15) in between, in the
same way connect the hose (16) to the spray (17) placing the washer
(15) in between. Open the water supply and verify the functioning of
the mixer as well as the perfect sealing of all its parts. Open the mixer

and verify the correct functioning of the diverter: pulling the knob (8)
the flow is diverted towards the spray (17); when the handle is tur-
ned off, the knob has to come back automatically to its initial posi-
tion. This diverter function does not work if the pressure is below 0.5
bar. Our single-lever faucet is provided with a manual diverter with
mechanical stop that permits the deviation even with low pressures.
REPLACEMENT OF THE CARTRIDGE (Pixel/Lemon) fig. C:
(Shut off the main water supply)
Take out the handle (26)-(39) by unscrewing the grub screw (27)
with a 2 mm hex wrench and unscrew the cap (25). Unscrew the ring
nut (24) with a spanner (Ch.27mm) and take out the cartridge (23).
To assemble proceed in reverse order, make sure you clean the sur-
faces of the faucet that are in contact with the sealing washers of the
cartridge. Close the ring nut (24) in such a way to grant the sealing
and in the same time to allow the handle to move easily.
REPLACEMENT OF THE CARTRIDGE (Cox) fig. C:
(Shut off the main water supply)
Unscrew the lever (44) and take out the handle (43) unscrew the cap
(42) and the ring nut (24), then take out the cartridge (40). To assem-
ble, proceed in reverse order, make sure you clean the surface in
contact with the sealing washers of the cartridge. Close the ring nut
(24) in such a way to grant the sealing and in the meantime to allow
the handle to move easily. Make sure that the screw (41) is comple-
tely screwed to the mixing cartridge.
REPLACEMENT OF THE SPOUT HOSE fig. C:
If it were necessary to replace the supply tube, proceed as follows;
unscrew the grub screw (10) take out the spout from the diverter
seat (9),disassemble the threaded nipple (6) with the help of a span-
ner Ch.28mm, then disconnect the flexible (3) using a spanner
Ch.13mm. DO NOT USE PLIERS OR WHATEVER COULD DAMAGE
THE THREADED PART OF THE NIPPLE.
Take out the aerator (1), insert an allen spanner Es. 8mm inside the
nipple to unscrew it completely from the spout, then use a spanner
Ch.24mm to remove the flexible (3) from the nipple (2), to make it
easy, it is recommended to use the two spanners Ch.24 and Es.8
together. DO NOT USE PLIERS OR WHATEVER COULD DAMAGE THE
THREADED PART OF THE NIPPLE.
Assemble the hose proceeding by reversing the steps, mind to place
the washer (5) correctly in between.
REPLACE THE SUPPLY TUBES fig. C:
(Shut off the main water supply)
If it were necessary to replace the supply tube (29), proceed as fol-
lows; Unscrew the screws (33) of the floor plate (34), lift the lower
part of the pillar bath system, unscrew the ring nut (31) and take out
the flange (32). Unscrew the lower tube (30) from the mixer (21),
then disconnect the hoses from the single-lever (21). DO NOT USE
PLIERS OR WHATEVER COULD DAMAGE THE SURFACE OF THE
LOWER TUBE.
Replace the supply tubes, then assemble the pillar bath system by
reversing the steps. Mind to fix the lower tube (30) with strength to
the single-lever (21).
MAINTENANCE OF THE SURFACES:
While cleaning, the surface of the faucet has to be cold (warmth
quickens the wearing out of the surface). Mind not to use cleaning
products which contain acids or corrosive substances.
The faucet has to be daily wiped with a soft cloth. Avoid corrosives,
abrasive sponges or any other similar product. Soon after cleaning,
wash away with cold water the detergent residues.
Damages to surfaces of our products, brought about by a not appro-
priate treatment are unsecured.
