Explanation to MK1 Pin 9 and 10
If the 5 V TTL-encoder has a current consumption
under 150 mA the Pin 9 can be connected to Pin 1
and Pin 10 to Pin 2 of MK1.
If the current consumption is over 150 mA, an
external 24 V DC-supply must be connected to Pin 9
and 10.
