VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
• Als de veiligheidsinstructies niet worden opgevolgd, kan de fabrikant
niet verantwoordelijk worden gesteld voor schade die daar eventueel
het gevolg van is.
• UITROEPTEKEN - in een gelijkbenige driehoek wordt gebruikt om aan te
geven dat een specifiek onderdeel om veiligheidsredenen alleen vervangen
kan worden door het onderdeel dat in de documentatie gespecificeerd is.
• LICHTFLITS MET PIJLSYMBOOL - in een gelijkbenige driehoek wordt
bedoeld als waarschuwing voor de aanwezigheid van ongeïsoleerde
gevaarlijke voltage in de productbehuizing, die sterk genoeg is om een
gevaar te vormen voor mensen op een elektrische schok.
• De AC/DC-adapter en het apparaat mogen niet blootgesteld worden
aan water of spatten. Plaats geen met vloeistof gevulde voorwerpen,
zoals vazen, op het apparaat.
• De AC/DC-adapter van het apparaat mag niet worden belemmerd en
moet gemakkelijk toegankelijk zijn tijdens het beoogde gebruik.
• Om de voeding volledig uit te schakelen, moet de stekker van de AC/
DC-adapter uit het stopcontact worden verwijderd, omdat de AC/DC-
adapter het apparaat van stroom voorziet.
• Als het snoer beschadigd is, moet het worden vervangen door de fabrikant
zelf, de dealer of erkend technicus om brandgevaar te voorkomen.
• Waarschuwing:
Verwijder de klep (of achterkant) niet, om het risico op een
elektrische schok te reduceren. Er bevinden zich geen onderdelen
binnenin, die door de gebruiker onderhouden kunnen worden. Laat
het onderhoud over aan gekwalificeerd onderhoudspersoneel.
• Het typeplaatje bevindt zich aan de onderkant van het apparaat.
• Als het apparaat binnen ongeveer een uur geen audiosignaal ontvangt,
zal het apparaat automatisch in de stand-bymodus schakelen (met
uitzondering van de FM radiomodus).

VOOR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK
• Haal het apparaat en de accessoires uit de doos. Verwijder eventuele stickers, beschermfolie of plastic
van het apparaat.
• Plaats het apparaat altijd op een vlakke stabiele ondergrond en zorg voor minimaal 10 cm. vrije
ruimte rondom het apparaat. Dit apparaat is niet geschikt voor inbouw of buitengebruik.
ENERGIEBRONNEN
AC-Stroom
• Sluit de voedingskabel aan op het stopcontact. (Let op: controleer of het voltage dat wordt

aangegeven op het apparaat, overeenkomt met de plaatselijke netspanning voordat u het apparaat
aansluit. Voltage 220V-240V 50Hz)
• Deze set beschikt over een ingebouwde energiebesparingssysteem, dat de set automatisch in de
""stand-bymodus"" zal schakelen wanneer het detecteert dat de set niet wordt gebruikt.
Let op: deze functie is alleen beschikbaar tijdens werking op het lichtnet.
Het netsnoer bevindt zich in het batterijcompartiment.
Batterijstroom
Plaats 6 C-batterijen in het batterijvak. Verzeker u ervan dat de batterijen correct zijn geplaatst om
beschadiging van het apparaat te voorkomen. Verwijder altijd de batterijen als u het apparaat een langere
periode niet gebruikt, aangezien dit lekkage van de batterijen kan veroorzaken en vervolgens uw apparaat
beschadigt.
Opmerkingen:
Gebruik batterijen van hetzelfde type. Gebruik nooit verschillende types batterijen tegelijkertijd.
Ontkoppel de AC-stroomkabel als u het apparaat met behulp van de batterijen gebruikt.
GEBRUIK
Bediening van de radio
1 • Zet de functietoets naar de "radio"-positie.
• Het display zal "FM" en de radiofrequentie weergeven.
• Gebruik de "Afspelen/Pauze/FM-modus"-toets om de Stereo of Mono modus te selecteren (in

sommige gevallen, als de ontvangst slecht is, kan het raadzaam zijn om de "mono"-modus te
selecteren, om de helderheid van het radiosignaal te verbeteren)

• Druk op de Volgende- of Vorige-toets (en laat deze onmiddellijk los) om de radiofrequentie, 1-stap
tegelijk "omhoog" of "omlaag" te "scannen" (handmatig instellen).
• Druk op en houd (voor 2 seconden) de Volgende- of Vorige-toetsen ingedrukt om de radiofrequentie
naar de volgende beschikbare zender "omhoog" of "omlaag" te "zoeken" (automatisch instellen).
Radiogeheugen
• Zoek de gewenste zender, druk één keer op de "Mem./Prog"-toets.
• Druk op Volgende- of Vorige-toets om de gewenste geheugenplaats te selecteren, druk op de "Mem./
Prog"-toets om het geselecteerde station in het geheugen op te slaan.
Geselecteerde geheugenplaats
Om een opgeslagen geheugenlocatie op te roepen, druk gewoon op de "FM terugroepen"-toets en de

opgeslagen radiozender zal worden opgeroepen.
Bediening van de CD
• Schuif de "Functie"-schakelaar naar "CD/AUX".
• De disk zal gaan draaien en het eerste nummer zal beginnen te spelen.
• Druk op elk gewenst moment tijdens het afspelen op de afspeeltoets om de werking van het
apparaat te pauzeren. Druk nogmaals op de afspeeltoets om het afspelen weer te hervatten.

• Druk op elk gewenst moment tijdens het afspelen op de stop toets om de werking te stoppen.
• Druk op de Volgende- of Vorige-toetsen om een nummer vooruit of achteruit te springen.

• Druk op en houd de Volgende- of Vorige-toetsen ingedrukt om de betreffende track snel vooruit of

snel achteruit te spoelen.
MP3-discs afspelen
• Schuif de "Functie"-schakelaar naar "CD/AUX".
• De disk zal gaan draaien en het eerste nummer zal beginnen te spelen.
• Als uw disk "mappen" heeft zal de display de mapnummers elke 5 seconden tonen (bijv. F01, enz.)
• Druk op "+10/Map"-toets om +10 nummers vooruit te springen.
• Druk op en houd de "+10/Map"-toets ingedrukt om de map te kiezen.
USB-drive en SD-kaart
• Schuif de functietoets naar de "CD"-positie om deze voorziening te kunnen gebruiken, plaats eerst
een USB-drive of een SD-kaart.
• Druk herhaaldelijk op en houd de "Stoppen/CD/USB/SD/FM"-toets (voor 2 seconden) ingedrukt om te
kiezen tussen: CD/MP3, USB en SD.
• De bediening (afspelen, pauze, vorige, volgende, stoppen) is precies hetzelfde als de bediening bij een CD.
• U kunt ook de "Overslaan +10/Map"-toets op dezelfde manier gebruiken zoals bij het afspelen van
een MP3-disc.
Belangrijk
Het kost tijd om een grote USB-drive/SD-kaart te openen en te controleren en alle muziekbestanden te
tellen. Als er veel bestanden zijn, kan dit proces tot 60 seconden duren.
Herhaald afspelen
Druk op de "P-modus"-toets om één van de volgende modi te selecteren: Herhaal de huidige track,
Herhaal alle tracks, Herhaal alle nummers van de momenteel geselecteerde map, Speel de nummers in
een willekeurige volgorde af.
Cassette tape afspelen
• Schuif de functieschakelaar naar de "Tape (uit)"-positie.
• Druk op de Cassette afspeeltoets. Hiermee start u het afspelen. Merk op dat de tape van rechts naar links
beweegt. Stel het volume op het gewenste niveau in.
• Het afspelen van de tape kan op elk moment worden gestopt, door op de "Stoppen"-toets te drukken.
Aan het einde van de tape schakelt de set zichzelf automatisch uit en geeft op hetzelfde moment de
afspeeltoets vrij.
• Druk op de "Stoppen"-toets gevolgd door de "Terugspoelen"- of "Snel vooruit"-toets om de tape op
hoge snelheid terug of vooruit te spoelen.
Cassette tape opname
• Plaats een lege cassette.
• Start het afspelen van de radio, CD, MP3, USB of SD en druk samen op de Cassette afspeel- en
opnametoetsen.
• Druk gewoon op de Cassette stoppen-toets om het opnemen te stoppen
Aux in
• Gebruik de functieschakelaar op de aux-in-modus te selecteren.
• Verbind een externe audiobron met het apparaat door het in de aux in-aansluiting te steken.
• Gebruik de bedieningsknoppen op de externe audiobron om het afspelen van de muziek te starten.
Koptelefoonaansluiting
• Steek de koptelefoon in de aansluiting en stel het volume af met de volumeregelaar, wanneer er een
externe koptelefoon is verbonden met de luidsprekers.
• Waarschuwing: luisteren op een hoog volume voor lange tijd kan lijden tot schade aan de oren van
de gebruiker.
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
• Reinig het apparaat met een vochtige doek. Gebruik nooit agressieve en schurende
schoonmaakmiddelen, een schuurspons of staalwol; dit beschadigt het apparaat.
• Dompel het apparaat niet onder in water of in een andere vloeistof en plaats het apparaat niet in de
vaatwasmachine om te reinigen.
AANWIJZINGEN TER BESCHERMING VAN HET MILIEU
Dit product mag aan het einde van zijn levensduur niet bij het normale huisafval worden
gedeponeerd, maar dient bij een speciaal inzamelpunt voor het hergebruik van elektrische

• To completely disconnect the power input, the AC/DC adaptor of the
apparatus should be disconnected from the mains, as the disconnected
device is the AC/DC adaptor of apparatus.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,

• If not any audio signal inputs to the unit in about one hour, the unit will

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from

POWER SOURCES
AC power
• Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the
device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V 50Hz)
• This set has a built-in power saving system which will automatically put the set into a ""standby
mode"" when it detects that the set is not in use.
Note: this function is only available during AC operation.
The AC cord is located inside the battery compartment.
Battery power
Insert 6 x "C" size batteries into the battery compartment. Be sure that the batteries are inserted correctly
to avoid damage to the appliance. Always remove the batteries when appliance will not be used for a long
period of time, as this will cause leakage to the batteries and subsequently damage to your appliance.
Notes:
Use batteries of the same type. Never use different types of batteries together.
When using the appliance with batteries, disconnect the AC powercord.
USE
Operation of radio
• Set the function switch to "radio" position.
• The display will show "fm" and the radio frequency.
• Use the "play/ pause/ fm mode" key to select the desired mode (In some cases, where reception is
poor, it may be advisable to select "mono" mode, to improve clarity of the radio signal Fm mono/
Stereo)
• Press (and immediately release) the next key or back key to "scan" (manually adjust) the radio
frequency "up" or "down" by 1-step at a time.
• Press and hold (for 2 seconds) the next or back keys to "seek" (automatically adjust) the radio
frequency "up" or "down" to the next available radio station.
Radio memory
• Search the desired station, press the "mem./prog" key once.
• Press next or back key to select desired memory position, press "mem./prog" key once to save the
selected station into the selected memory position.
Selected memory position
To recall any saved memory, simply press the fm. recall key, the saved Radio-band will be recalled.
CD operation
• Slide the "function" switch to "CD/ AUX".
• The disk will start spinning and the first track will start playing.
• At any anytime during playback, press the play key to pause operation of the unit. Press play key to
resume operation at the same track and Position.
• At anytime during playback, press the stop key to stop operation.
• Press and release the next or back keys to skip forward or backwards.
• Press and hold the next or back keys to fast-forward (cue) or fast-reverse (review) the specific track.
Play MP3 discs
• Slide the "function" switch to "CD/ AUX".
• The disk will start spinning and the first track will start playing.
• If your disc has "folder s" the display will show the folder number (eg. F01, etc..) Every 5 seconds.
• Press and release the "+10/ folder key" to skip forward +10 tracks.
• Press and hold the "+10/ folder key" to choose the folder.
USB drive and SD-card
• Slide the function switch to "CD" position to utilize this facility, first insert either a usb-rive or a sd-card.
• Press and hold (for 2 seconds) the "stop/ CD/ USB/ SD/ FM mode" key repeatedly to select between:
CD/MP3 à USB à SD.
• Playback control (play, pause, back, next, stop) are exactly the same as with a CD.
• You may also use the "skip +10/ folder" key in the same manner as with MP3 playback.
Important
It takes time to open and verify a large USB-Drive / SD-card, and count all the song files. If there are many
files, it can take up to 60 seconds for this process.
Repeat playback
Press the "P-mode" key repeatedly to select one of the following modes: Repeat the current track à Repeat
all tracks à Repeat all songs from currently selected folder à Play songs in a random order.
Cassette tape playback
• Slide the function switch to the "tape (off )" position.
• Press the cassette-play button. This will start the playback. Note that the tape moves from right to left.
Adjust the volume to the desired level.
• The tape playback can be stopped at anytime, by pressing the "stop" button. At the tape's end, the set
switches itself off automatically, and releases the play button at the same time.
• Press the "stop" button followed by the "rewind" or "fast-forward" button to rewind or forward the
tape at high speed.
Cassette tape recording
• Insert a blank cassette.
• Start playing the radio, CD, MP3, USB or SD and press the cassette play and record buttons together.
• Simply press the cassette stop button to stop recording
Aux in
• Use the function switch to select the aux in mode.
• Connect an external audio source to the device by plugging it in the aux in jack.
• Use the native controls on the external audio source to start playing music.
Phone jack
• Plug in the headphone and adjust the volume with the volume control, when an external headphone
is connected the speakers will be muted.
• Caution: listening a high volume for a long time could damage the users ears.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel
wool, which damages the device.
• Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. The device in not dishwasher proof.

important push to the protection of our environment. Ask your local authorities for information regarding the
point of recollection.
