3 Filling humidifier
1 Turn off the humidifier and push the button on the left side of the
humidifier case to open the front cover.
2 Remove the sponge and fill it with destilled water. Then squeeze the
sponge slightly until no more water is dripping out of the sponge.
3 Insert the sponge again in the humidifier and wipe off any excess
water from the humidifier. Close the front cover and turn on the
humidifier. Attention: Void having water near electircal connections.
Make sure that the power plug is dry before plugging it into the
power outlet.
4 Please note that in a new humidor it may take some time, up to a few
days depending on its size, until the wood has absorbed sufficient
humidity thus reaching the desired humidity level.
5 Depending on the size of the humidor and the frequency with which
you open it, one refill may last several months. Once the sponge is
empty, or when the humidity starts dropping below 2% of the pre-set
humidity level, you should refill the humidifier. An accustic alarm and
the battery symbol on the LCD display will indicate when the humidi-
fier will need to be refilled. Always use distilled water when refilling.
In a new humidor the first refill may last less than future refills.
