• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
qualified personnel otherwise contact technical support.
• Check to see that the main voltage complies with the one
required by the hood, which is indicated on the tag that is
applied on the internal side of the appliance.
• Assemble a suitable plug on the wire or insert a proper power
two-pole switch if it is to be directly connected to the main
with a 3mm minimum opening between contacts between
the main and the appliance. All the above-mentioned
electrical parts must comply with the current standards.
• The yellow/green earthing cable must not be interrupted.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

• The minimum distance between the supporting surface for
the cooking vessels on the hob and the lowest part of the
range hood.
When the range hood is located above a gas appliance, this
distance shall be at least 650 mm (Fig.3). If the instructions
for the installation for the gas hob specify a greater distance,
this has to be taken into account. The distance of 650 mm
can be reduced for: non-combustible parts of range hoods,
and parts operating at safety extra low voltage, provided
these parts do not give access to live parts is deformed (IEC
60335-2-31, A2).
• If a connection pipe made up of two or more pieces is used,
the upper part shall be placed outside the lower part.
Do not connect the cooker hood exhaust pipe to a duct used
to circulate hot air or to discharge fumes from appliances fed
by energy other than electric power.
Provide the room with adequate aeration if the cooker hood
and other appliances fed by energy other than electric
power are used simultaneously.
• Mounting the cooker hood to the wall:
Drill holes A-B-C according to indications quoted in (Fig.1).
Use screws and screw anchors suitable for wall (e.g.
reinforced cement, plasterboard) for the mounting of the
cooker hood. Where screws and screw anchors are supplied
ensure that they are suitable for the type of wall where the
cooker hood is to be mounted. Affix the bracket D to the wall
via the drill holes B (Fig.2).
Hang the cooker hood on the wall using the drill holes A
(Fig.2). Fasten the cooker hood using the fastening drill holes
C (Fig.2).
• Exhaust version:
Connect the flange Y to the discharge opening with a
connecting tube (do not carry out for filter version).
Thread the upper connector E to the inside of the lower
connector F; hang the two connectors inserting them
vertically on the cooker hood, unthread the upper connector
E towards the top, locking it in with the appropriate screws
in the drill holes G of the bracket D (Fig.4 - Fig.5) previously
affixed to the wall via the drill holes B (Fig.2).
• Recirculating mode installation:
In order to transform your cooker hood from the exhaust
version to the recirculating version, ask your local retailer
for the recircultating kit and then carry out the enclosed
installing instructions.

OPERATION

• Commands PUSH BUTTONS (Fig.8):
A - First speed.
B - Second speed.
C - Third speed.
D - Fourth speed (maximum).
E - Light ON/OFF.
* -
For timing the speed, hold the button for a few seconds until the light flashes.
* -
In all hood versions the max speed (4/L4) is always timed for 15 minutes and then
the hood shuts off automatically.
• KNOB control (Fig.9):
A - Light on.
B - Motor speed 1 to 4 and light on.
C - Automatic shut off option - silent cycle: Minimum speed
(level 1), duration 120' .
D - Automatic shut off option - fast cycle: Maximum speed
(level 4), duration 30' .
E - Motor speed 1 to 4 suction without light.
FILTER REPLACEMENT
• Metal anti-grease filters (Fig.6):
- For better functioning of the anti-grease filters, they must
be washed at least once a month.
- Filters are dishwasher safe.
The filters may change colour slightly and become opaque.
Their functioning remains unaltered.
- If washed by hand, leave them to soak in boiling water and
washing-up liquid for a few hours.
- Do not use brushes to clean the filters, as this may ruin the
texture of the structure.
- If the filters are extremely dirty and grease residues are
present, the filters could catch fire, therefore jeopardising
the correct functioning of the appliance.
- Turn the knob to disassemble.

LIGHT REPLACEMENT

• Replacing halogen light bulbs (Fig.7):
To replace the halogen light bulbs B, remove the glass panel
C using a lever action on the relevant cracks.
Replace the bulbs with new ones of the same type.
Caution: do not touch the light bulb with bare hands.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• We recommend that the cooker hood is switched on before
any food is cooked. We also recommend that the appliance is
left running for 15 minutes after the food is cooked, in order
to thoroughly eliminate all contaminated air. The eff ective
performance of the cooker hood depends on constant main-
tenance; the anti-grease fi lter and the active carbon filter
both require special attention.
• Metal grease filters: they capture grease particles in sus-
pension, therefore we recommend you to wash them every
month, using hot water and a detergent product, making
sure not to bend them. Wait until they are well dried, before
refitting them in the cooker hood. They capture the odours
found in the air that passes through them. The air purified is
then re-circulated into the kitchen. Filters are washable.
• Cleaning the outside of the appliance: it is advised to
