Verify that power is disconnected from
electrical box before proceeding.
Required power supply: 220-240V,
50/ 60 Hz.
Total amps: 15 amps for 762 mm and
914 mm ranges; 28 amps for 1219 mm and
1524 mm ranges.
The terminal block on the rear of the range
allows for a 3-wire installation. Two concentric
knockouts are provided to allow for permanent
or cordset wiring of the unit.
Be aware of local codes and ordinances when
installing your service.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Connection of this appli-
ance should be through a fused connection
unit or a suitable isolator, which complies with
national and local safety regulations. The
on/off switch should be easily accessible after
the appliance has been installed. If the switch
is not accessible after installation (depending
on country) an additional means of disconnec-
tion must be provided for all poles of the
power supply. When switched off there must
be an all pole contact gap of 3 mm in the
isolator switch. This 3 mm contact disconnect
gap must apply to any isolator switch, fuses
and/or relays according to EN60335.
Terminal block.
A means for disconnection of the electrical
supply must be incorporated in the fixed
wiring in accordance with the wiring rules.
Fixed wiring must be rated for minimum of
30 amps or in accordance with the wiring
rules.
A strain relief or wiring anchorage is
required for the fixed wiring at the unit and
the electrical supply connection in accor-
dance with the wiring rules.

To connect to a three-wire electrical system,
follow these steps. Refer to the illustration
below.
Connect (L1) to the left most screw of the
terminal block.
Connect (N) to the right most screw of the
terminal block.
Connect the ground to the middle screw
and just above the metal tab of the terminal
block.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not remove the metal
tab attached to the terminal block.
