2. Safety
Risk of scalding or burning!
This risk exists at temperatures above 43 °C.
Limescale can block the tap outlet.

Never block the tap outlet, and never use perlators,

aerators, flow limiters or hoses with jet controllers.
In all of the instances mentioned above, the small instan-
taneous water heater would come under mains pressure.
As it is not designed for this it could be damaged.
3. Equipment description
This tap is intended for operation with a small open vented
(unpressurised) instantaneous water heater.
The tap is fitted with a jet controller.
With the AHEu 40 MTH tap, you can operate the waste
set included in the delivery using the pull rod on the back.
Use the tap with our MTH small instantaneous water he-
ater.
4. Operation
AHEu 40 MTH
With the mono-lever tap, you draw water by pulling the
lever up.
By pivoting the lever sideways you can set the required
temperature by mixing cold and hot water. Turning it to
the right releases cold water; turning it to the left releases
hot water.
AHu 40 MTH
With the twin-handle tap, you draw hot water by turning
the left handle. You can draw cold water by turning the
right handle only.
When you turn both handles you can mix the required
temperature by opening and closing off the water flow
as appropriate.
