INSTALLATION
The tap is approved for a static pressure of up to 0.6 MPa.
Install a pressure reducer upstream of the tap in the water
mains if the static pressure is higher.
9. Installation
9.1 Taps
» Thoroughly flush the cold water supply line.
» Debur the pipes if you have trimmed them.
» Never kink or twist the AHEu 40 MTH / AHu 40 MTH
hoses or install them with a radius that is too small.
» For the AHEu 40 MTH / AHu 40 MTH, insert the tap
body into the aperture from above with the seal ring.
» Secure the tap body from below with the mating fit-
ting and the adaptor sleeve.
» Install the waste set as shown in the following illus-
tration. Seal the upper drain fitting from above with
suitable sealant.

9.2 Water connections

Never interchange the water connections. Other-
!
wise the small instantaneous water heater will be
subject to mains water pressure that could damage it.
AHEu 40 MTH / AHu 40 MTH
» Connect the short hose, marked with a blue arrow
pointing up, to the angle valve.
» Screw the longer hose marked with a blue arrow
pointing down on to the cold water connection for the
small instantaneous water heater.
» Screw the longer hose marked with a red arrow poin-
ting up on to the DHW connector for the small instan-
taneous water heater.
AHo 40 MTH
» Screw both connecting pipes directly on to the small
instantaneous water heater.

10. Commissioning

10.1 Drawing water
» Pull the lever up and pivot it to the left or, in the case
of taps with handles, turn the hot water handle until
the tap is fully open.
» Wait until the water is flowing from the spout without
bubbles.
10.2 Switching on the small instantaneous
water heater
Only switch on the small instantaneous water heater once
you have drawn bubble-free water from the hot water out-
let.
