NOVA TIPS
- Gebruik deze sandwich toaster alleen voor huishoudelijk gebruik.
- Zorg dat het snoer of een eventueel verlengsnoer zodanig weggelegd worden dat niemand
erover kan struikelen en dat het de hete bakplaten niet raakt.
- Bij dit type toestel kan een beschadigd snoer uitsluitend met speciaal gereedschap door onze
service-dienst vervangen worden.
- Gebruik deze sandwich toaster niet buitenshuis.
- Houd goed toezicht op de sandwich toaster als kinderen erbij kunnen. De bakplaten en de
metalen buitenzijde worden immers erg heet. Wees natuurlijk zelf ook voorzichtig. Laat het
apparaat goed afkoelen voordat u het opruimt.
- Sluit de sandwich toaster alleen op een geaard stopcontact aan.
NOVA RETRO CROQUE

The Retro Croque is ideal for making quick and tasty toasted cheese and ham sandwiches. The
non-stick coating on the backing surface prevents sticking and is easy to clean. The indicator lights
for "on/off" and "temperature" and the adjustable thermostat make the Retro Croque very simple
to use.
We suggest thet you wipe the baking surcface with a damp cloth before first use, and that you
remove all labels.
TIPS FOR USE
Unwind the cord completely before plugging it into the outlet. Place the appliance on a stable, heat-
resistant suface. Now the appliance can be opened. Close the aplliance and let it warm up. It is
warm when the indicator light shows "green" . Experiment with the temperature setting untill you
find the ideal setting.
Open the Retro Croque and place the sandwich on the bottom of the surface in the usuall way, i.e.
first the bread, then the filling, then another piece of bread. Close the toaster (do not press the
two surfaces together too hard) and fasten with the clip on the handle. Always make sandwiches
with the toaster closed.
When the sandwich toaster is closed, some steam may be emitted. Take care this does not burn
you. After 2-3 minutes, the sandwich is ready; you can of course experiment with the cooking
time to achieve the perfect result.
Note: during toasting the "green" light will blinck on and off; this means that the thermostat is
functioning properly and that the temperature is being regulated accordingly.
When the sandwich is done, open the toaster and remove the sandwich, if necessary with a
wooden or plastic spatula. Never use metal utensils as this can damage the non-stick coating.
If you wish to make more sandwiches, you can keep the sandwich toaster closed to keep it at the
right temperature. Unplug the appliance if you will not be using the toaster again.
CLEANING
FIRST UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE.
Clean the toaster after each use. This prevents leftover food from becoming encrusted in the
appliance. Let the Retro Croque cool down after use. Never pour cold water onto the plates. This
may damage the appliance and can cause spattering of hot water. Do not use any abrasive
cleaning products.
NEVER IMMERSE THE TOASTER IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
Clean the baking surfaces with paper towel or the like. Soak stubborn
leftovers with cooking oil first and leave to dissolve for 5 minutes.
The outside of the base can be wiped off with a damp cloth.
