6. Residual risks and danger spots at the air curtain system
All residual risks are described in this instruction and the enclosed hazard evaluation. A high level of attention has
to be paid by any person working on the device:

Fire protection

In case of fire, the air curtain system can become an accelerant. Because of the turnover of large
air masses, fire centres around the system are supplied with additional oxygen. We explicitly note
that the system must be incorporated into the building's fire safety code, according to the
applicable regulations at the location of use.

Porous wires can result in electrical fires
Short circuit or electrocution due to porous wires
Fire in heating coils or air vents
Overheating of the motor
Danger of burns from hot surfaces within the system! Danger: let system cool down before
opening the cover
When the cover is open, the running motor could be touched, if it isn't turned off and has
stopped
Danger of electrocution due to dampness or leaking fluids in the system
Danger of burns from hot, pressurized water out of the warm water pump
In case of faulty installation, or because it is coming loose from the wall or ceiling attach-
ment on its own, the entire system can fall from the ceiling.
Dangers arise from the refrigerant medium, if the heating elements are connected to a coo-
ling system. Never breath in vapors or drizzle from the refrigerant medium!
