2.2 Install mounting bracket

Install the mounting bracket for the blocking
element and counter unit as illustrated in the
drawing above.
When positioning the mounting bracket, pay
attention to the distance to the edge of the door
leaf and/or the frame (2 mm). This distance is
equivalent to the wall thickness of the housing
that is to be installed for the blocking element
and/or the counter unit.
However, the distance between the blocking
element and the counter unit should not be
wider than 4 mm. (This is equivalent to a
distance between the mounting brackets
themselves of max. 8 mm).

2.3 Install blocking element
Remove the face plate installed at the
factory. Insert the blocking element in
the housing and screw tight with 2
countersunk head screws M3x10. Place
the housing together with the blocking
element on the mounting bracket and
screw tight with 2 counter-sunk head
screws M4x20. (The long screw reaches
through the boreholes in the mounting
bracket and in the strut of the housing and
provides additional stability).
For attaching the counter unit, counter-
sunk head screws M4x8 suffice.
