Before using the appliance, carefully read the safety instructions listed below.
Always make sure that you are correctly handling the appliance.
Throughout these instruction guidelines, the term 'appliance' refers to:
- the plastic diffuser
- the electric transformer
If you detect a burning smell, or other signs indicating that the appliance may be
malfunctioning, immediately unplug the electrical cord from the socket. Wait until
the burning smell has disappeared and contact your retailer.
If the appliance falls, unplug the transformer from the socket.
Do not allow essential oils in the diffusion capsule to overflow as they may stain
the piece of furniture on which the appliance is placed, or the plastic elements of
the diffuser itself.
Do not attempt to disassemble, or modify the diffuser in any way, as this will nullify
your one-year parts and labour warranty.
Do not bend, twist or pull the electrical cable as this may damage it and could
present a fire hazard or result in electrical discharge.
Do not place heavy objects on the appliances.
Do not block the air vent, except with the diffusion capsule provided (located at
the centre of the lighting ring)
Only use the air filter provided (located at the back of the appliance) and do not
block the air vent.
Do not place the appliances on a sloped or unstable piece of furniture as they may
fall and break or cause injuries.
Do not use the appliance in a smoky, damp or dusty place, or somewhere where
there are strong vibrations (from music etc.)
Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures.
Keep out of reach of children.
Respect the instructions for use provided with the essential oils.
Keep away from naked flames.
Do not submerse in water.
Do not soak the diffusion capsule too much (3 to 5 drops) as the essential oils
could overflow into the inner-part of the diffuser.
Do not pour essential oils onto the diffuser.
Do not, under any circumstances, pour essential oils into the central cavity of the
lighting ring; make sure you use the diffusion capsule specially designed for this
purpose. Such type of misuse will nullify the product warranty.
