LP-79 Infrared Thermometer
Introduction
The LP-79 is a hand-held, battery-operated thermometer which
measures the temperature by using infrared technology. This technology
enables temperature reading from a distance, without having to be in
direct physical contact with the surface to be measured. This makes
temperature reading very efficient and accurate.
Instruction of use
Point the sensor at the desired target and press and hold the "on"
button. Release the "on" button to read the temperature. For continuous
reading feature keep holding down the "on" button.
Target size / field of view
The LP-79 has a distance to target ration of 10:1. For example if the
distance is 1 meter, the diameter if the measured area is 10cm. Or in
inches this would be for example 10 inches of distance to 1 inch
diameter of the measured area.
Laser sight
The Laser is located in the front of the sensor next to the optics and is
activated by pressing the "on" button. The laser will produce a red spot
that shows the centre of the measurement area on the target.
F/C Select Switch
The select switch is located within the battery compartment which is
right behind an access hole.
