The garment should be scrapped and not used again if
the protective material has been:
-damaged
-incorrectly washed
-altered from its original shape
The protective qualities may be reduced in these cases.
• This product is no substitute for the safe operation of
a chain saw and does not provide total protection.
• Carefully read all safety instructions applicable to your
chain saw.
• Damaged outer material must be repaired
immediately in order to prevent the protective material
becoming damaged.
• Make sure that the garment´s saw protection overlaps
the saw protection of the footwear.
• Keep the garment away from sharp objects, acids,
oils, solvents, fuels and animal droppings.
• The garment should be cleaned with average soiling
every week if worn daily. It should be washed
immediately after use if heavily soiled.
• Clean the garment immediately in case it has been
subjected to petrol, oil, grease or other flammable
materials. Fire hazard! The product is not tested for
flammability.
• Do not use a belt or other equipment which can be
strapped on the garment. Accessories can reduce the
protective capabilities.
• This products is designed for the users of chain saws.
• A jackets maximum protection will only be available
when the garment is fully closed.
Care instructions / labelling
• Wash the garment regularly in accordance with the
washing instructions. See inside labeling. Heavily
soiled garments may provide less protection.
• After washing the garment should be stretched prior
to being dried. Air dry slowly. Line dry.
• In the event of a repair being carried out to the outer
material, do not sew into the protective material since
this can reduce the protective qualities. Adhesive
must not be used when carrying out repairs as it may
affect the protective material and reduce its
protective qualities.

Criteria for discarding clothing
Cut-retardant apparel and materials are subjected to a
certain degree of aging. In professional logging the
maximum period of usage is considered to be about 12
months. In non-professional (occasional use) a usage of
up to a maximum of 5 years is considered acceptable.
The period of usage depends on the specific conditions
used. In case of doubt, the product should be examined
to ensure it conforms to current technical requirements,
and also for wear or changes, and be replaced with a
new product if necessary.
Transport and storage
Protect the garment against damage during
transportation. Transport the product in the packaging
delivered with your garment.
Store the product in a dark and dry area.
Size
For maximum personal protection, it is important that the
correct size is selected. Garments should be selected so
that they do not restrict movement in any way. For size,
