2. USAGE
The modules were designed for indoor use
in dry places. The LEDs might also be used
in wet environments or outdoors, if suited
for that purpose. For outdoor use we also
offer optional housings.
Important: The modules must be operated
with a power supply that is matched to the
used LEDs! Non-LED loads (especially in-
ductive loads like motors, coils, etc.) might
damage or destroy the module.
If any of the before mentioned points is not
observed short circuit or electric shock
might occur.
CHROMOFLEX Pro series operates on a
frequency of 868.3 MHz (licence-free in EU,
Switzerland, Norway and Iceland).
4. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The modules might produce some heat.
Care must be taken to provide unrestric-
ted air ventilation.
The unit is equipped with a limited protec-
tion against reverse polarity. Connecting
the power in reverse polarity can destroy
the module, even if connected for a short
time only.
Important: It is guaranteed by design that
the units will never generate any higher
voltage than the supply voltage. The modu-
le is the ideal solution for use in low-volta-
ge areas, like pools, steam baths, SPAs, etc.
Electronics must not be modified. Observe
the official regulations for electrical de-
vices (like DIN, VDE, EN), especially when
LEDs are used in wet areas!

1. INTRODUCTION
CHROMOFLEX Pro DIN rail is an advan-
cement of CHROMOFLEX I, II and RC. The
PRO version consists of up to 4-channels
(for modern R-G-B-W LEDs - Item.-No.
66000034) and is totally radio controlled.
For control and settings either CHRO-
MOFLEX Pro remote control (Item.-No.
66000045), CHROMOFLEX Pro Glas Touch
RGBW
(Item.-No.
66000336),
MOFLEX Pro Push button (Item.-No.
66000373) or CHROMOFLEX Pro USB
dongle (for PC/ Item.-No. 66000036) are
necessary.

LEDs can get quite hot. We strongly re-
commend ensuring maximum operating
temperature is not exceeded, because this
might reduce the expected life time of the
LEDs significantly.

Several CHROMOFLEX Pro can be linked
in a network, whereas all colour chan-
ges/scenes (except. random effects) are
in sync within the network automatically.
Therefore sophisticated illuminations can
be attained with a minimum of effort. Ope-
rating range depends on the environment.
Operation of up to 300 metres should be

possible outdoors. Indoors an operating
range of 20- 50 metres should be unpro-
blematic.
WARNING 1:
LED light may have very high intensity
even when dimmed. Some modern LEDs
are classified by the lasers marking ob-
ligation. Particularly in connection with
optics also weak LEDs may be very dan-
gerous. Staring into LEDs may cause irre-
parable damage to the eye's retina. Hence:
NEVER STARE INTO THE BEAM. Use diffu-
sers to spread the intensity!
WARNING 2:
Please be aware of the fact that LED light
may cause side effects. This light changes
intensity very fast! Changing light may
affect the perception and is also known to
trigger epileptic seizures in persons who
are photosensitive.
