DIRECTIONS FOR USE

1. Put on oven mitts prior to proceeding to next step.
2. Using a tea pot or other heat-proof pot with a pour spout, CAREFULLY pour
boiling water (after waiting 10 seconds for the active boiling to stop) into
the canister. Slowly fill the canister with water, making sure NOT to fill it any
more than 2.5" (6.5 cm) from the top of the canister. The Perfetto
properly holds 1 quart (1 liter) of water.
3. Place pasta in Perfetto

4. Carefully place the strainer and lid onto the Perfetto
5. Wait approximately 10-20 minutes, depending upon the type of pasta
and number of servings being cooked. Please refer to the recipe book
for suggested cooking times. Times may vary based on your preference
for pasta's firmness. Flat, long pasta will have best results. It is not
recommended to cook more than two servings in the Perfetto
at one time.
6. Remove the lid (keeping the strainer in place), and hold the Perfetto
cooker by the two black flaps of the strainer (see illustration), being careful
not to touch the actual canister. Slowly strain the water out of the canister,
being careful not to pour so quickly that the water splashes.
7. Carefully remove the strainer, and pour the pasta onto a serving dish.
