Cleaning and maintenance
Remove the coff ee lter and rinse the glass
pot after use.
Wipe the outside of the coff ee maker with a
well-wrung cloth.
Descaling
The coff ee maker should be descaled
regularly, depending on the hardness of the
local water. If limescale starts to form on the
coff ee maker, brewing may take longer than
normal, and the coff ee maker will start to
make a noise during the brewing process.
Use a commercial descaling agent available
from supermarkets. Follow the instructions
on the packaging.
Pour around 400 ml of water into the
reservoir and add the descaling agent.
Allow the solution to stand for around one
hour and then run the solution through the
coff ee maker without the coff ee lter and
coff ee beans.
Pour the solution away and run 2 pots of
clean water through to remove any residues
of the solution.
