Before use

Before using the coff ee maker for the � rst
time, brew two pots of hot water without
coff ee beans to remove any residues of dirt
left over from the manufacturing process.
Use
Fill the water reservoir (9) with the required

amount of cold water.
Insert the plug in the mains socket.
Place a paper coff ee � lter in the funnel
(3) and � ll it with the required quantity of
ground coff ee. Swing the � lter holder (2)
out and insert the funnel. Swing the � lter
holder back into place.
Place the glass pot (5) on the hot plate (6)

and turn the coff ee maker on using the on/
off button (7). The indicator light comes on
and the coff ee maker starts to brew coff ee.
The coff ee maker is equipped with a drip-
stop function so that you can temporarily
remove the pot from the hot plate during
brewing to pour a cup of coff ee. Replace the
glass pot as soon as possible, otherwise the

funnel may run over.

Once the water has run through, lift the
glass pot from the hot plate and pour out
the coff ee.
If you leave the coff ee maker on, the hot
plate will keep the coff ee pot hot. The taste
of the coff ee will gradually deteriorate as
it is kept hot, so it is best not to leave the
coff ee standing on the hot plate for more
than an hour after brewing.
Turn the coff ee maker off and unplug it
once you have � nished using it.
