The charger’s output voltage is higher than the battery’s nominal voltage (battery 12.8 V, charger AC15 – not connected to a battery – 15.8 V). With a traditional charger like the AC15 the battery’s output voltage will not be controlled by computer. The current leaving the charger at the end of the charging process may overcharge the battery and reduce its life. -

Die Ausgangsspannung des Ladegeräts ist höher als die Nennspannung des Akkus (Akku 12.8 V, Ladegerät AC15 – nicht mit einem Akku verbunden – 15.8 V). Die Ausgangsspannung des AC15 wird nicht von einem Computer kontrolliert. Deshalb kann der Strom vom Ladegerät nach dem Ladevorgang den Akku überladen und deren Lebensdauer verringern. -

Die Automatisierung des Ladevorgangs erfordert ein automatisches Ladegerät (im Besonderen für diesen Akku oder diese Serie von Akkus). Sicherungen Das AC15 verfügt über 3 Sicherheitssicherungen. Thermosicherung: Diese Sicherung schaltet das Ladegerät bei Überhitzung ab. Das Gerät wird automatisch eingeschaltet, wenn es eine normale Temperatur erreicht hat. -
