The installation is very easy and takes little time. Connect the transmitter to a video game player or to the A/V source
you want to view or hear in a different room and then connect the receiver with a TV, monitor or speakers. The
AVMOD15 can be used with all types of A/V sources with standard RCA or SCART connectors.
A/V sources compatible with the sender:
Video game player, VCR, TV, digital or analogue satellite receiver, laser disc player, DVD or VCD, CD player,
camcorder, security camera, computer, CATV STB, cassette deck, stereo receiver
A/V sources compatible with the sender:
TV, monitor or active speakers.
8. Connecting the transmitter to an A/V source
Put the power switch in the OFF position. Use the A/V cable supplied with your A/V source to connect the A/V input
jacks of the transmitter with the A/V output jacks of the A/V source e.g. VCR. The RCA connectors of the A/V cables
come in three colours. Make sure the yellow, white and red plugs match on the transmitter and on the A/V source.
Before connecting the power adapter with the transmitter you should make sure its AC voltage rating is compatible
with the standard used in your country. Use the power adapter to connect the transmitter with an AC wall outlet. Put
the power switch in the ON position and check if the power ON/OFF indicator is lit.
A. Connecting the transmitter to your video game player
1. Connect the A/V output of your video game player with the A/V input of the transmitter using the game player's
A/V cable. Be sure to connect the video jack of your A/V source with the video jack of the transmitter and do the
same with the audio left & right jacks. If your video game player has only one audio OUT jack, you should connect
it with the transmitter's audio IN jack (labelled MONO).

3. Install the cable for the IR sensor if the video source does not respond to signals from the remote control.
B. Connecting the transmitter to your VCR, DVD, VCD or laser disc player
1. Connect the A/V output of the A/V source with the transmitter's A/V input using the A/V cable of the A/V source.
Be careful to connect the right jacks : audio right with audio right, audio left with audio left and video jack with
video jack.
2. Connect the DC adapter with the transmitter and then plug the DC adapter into a wall outlet.
3. Use a coaxial cable to connect the coaxial OUT on the A/V source with the VHF/UHF input or antenna input of
your TV.
4. If your A/V source is equipped with two A/V line outputs, then you can connect the second line output with your
TV using a three-wire A/V cable.
5. Install the cable for the IR sensor if the video source does not respond to signals from the remote control.
C. Connecting the transmitter to your satellite receiver or CATV system
1. Use a coaxial cable to connect the coaxial input, the CATV input or the antenna input on your satellite receiver of
CATV with the satellite dish or the CATV's coaxial outlet.
2. Use the A/V cable of your A/V source to connect the A/V output of this source with the transmitter's A/V input. Be
careful to connect the right jacks : audio right with audio right, audio left with audio left and video jack with video
jack.
3. Connect the DC adapter with the transmitter and then plug the DC adapter into a wall outlet.
