Before using for the first time

To get the best tasting coffee, switch the machine on two or three times using only fresh water
and no coffee� Once all the water has filtered through, turn the appliance off and leave it to cool for
5 minutes� Repeat the operation, again with fresh water�

Preparing the coffee

• Fill the water reservoir to the desired level, which must be between the minimum and maximum
levels (MAX)� Only use cold fresh water� The number of cups is indicated on the reservoir�
• Insert a new 1X4 sized paper filter, and fill it with the desired quantity of coffee grounds�
• Switch the appliance on� The operation is finished when the funnel is completely empty�
• For large cups, use 5 to 6 g of coffee grounds per cup�
Need more coffee?
If you would like to make more coffee straight after your first cup, switch the appliance off, leave it to
cool for at least 5 minutes, and then refill the reservoir�

Cleaning

• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it�
• Do not immerse the appliance in water�
• Wipe it with a damp cloth to clean�
• The carafe, filter and funnel can be washed in warm soapy water�
Descaling
• Your coffee machine must be descaled regularly�
• Turn your appliance on (see above) with no coffee in the filter, and use cooking vinegar instead of
water in the reservoir�
• Once you have finished descaling the appliance, turn it on twice more using just water to remove
all traces of vinegar and limescale�
