1. Introduction & Characteristics
Thank you for buying the KNS4 ! Read this manual carefully before bringing the device into use.
• Familiarise yourself with the operation of transmissions steered through gears or pulleys.
• Easy to build, no glue or soldering required.
• Dislodge the pre-cut pieces when you need them and not before. Sand the jagged edges before use (sandpaper
included)
• The kit is powered by 2 AA-batteries (not included).
The kits of the KNS-series are supplied with prepunched boards, a gearbox, gears, shafts, a switch, a motor, a
battery holder and all necessary parts.
Note that the figures with the assembly instructions can be found in the second folder "KNS4 – Figures"!!!

Fig. 4 : Insert part n°20 in the hole on board n°2 and mount the motor holder according to fig. 4.

n°4 and through the pulley (part n°10). The metal shafts come out the other side of board n°1. Remember
to put the rubber bands (parts n°18 & 16) on the pulley before inserting the metal shaft. Another part n°15
goes through boards n°1 & 4.
