10 Cleaning and maintenance

10.1 Cleaning the device
► Clean the device with a soft cloth dampened with water. To clean soiled connections, use a non-scratch brush. Do not use
cleaning agents or solvents when cleaning the Weather Station, as they can damage the housing and enter the device, causing
permanent damage.
► Battery contacts can be wiped with a dry lint-free cloth.
► If the device becomes wet, turn it off and remove the batteries immediately. Dry the battery compartment with a soft cloth to
minimise the risk of water damage. Leave the cover off the battery compartment overnight or until completely dry. Do not use the
device until it is completely dry.
► If batteries leak, the escaped liquid can cause injuries (irritate the skin) or damage the device.
► Dispose of batteries according to the environmental regulations.
► Wear protective gloves and clean the battery compartment with a soft paper towel. It is recommended to have the device
cleaned by a specialist.
10.2 Maintenance
