I. Attach antennas (see image I)

Connect the rod antennas included in the package to the antenna jacks in the PCTV Dual DVB-T
Diversity Stick.
Note: If you would like to use the rod antennas included in the package, place them as high as
possible and as close as possible to the window.
Reception is dependent on location and can be affected by thick or steel-reinforced walls as well as
neighboring buildings. In such environments, an outdoor/roof antenne is required.
Antenna Diversity function: The PCTV Dual DVB-T Diversity Stick has integrated logic that
combines the signals of the two antennas into one signal. This produces significantly better
reception than with only one antenna, also when reception is poor. To use the Diversity function
optimally, place the antennas about 1-2 feet from each other. Note that the Diversity function does
not receive two different stations at the same time.
In order to prevent possible damage from the magnetic field of the antenna foot, make sure that
there is enough space between it and your hard drives and other magnetically-sensitive
components.
II. Computer connection (see image II)

Plug the PCTV Dual DVB-T Diversity Stick into one of your PC USB 2.0 ports.
III. Software installation
If the "Add new hardware" dialog window appears during installation, press cancel.

Place the PCTV installation CD-ROM into the appropriate CD drive from your PC. Installation will
begin automatically; then proceed by following the instructions provided by the setup program.
IV. Using the remote control (see image III)

If you wish to operate your PCTV Dual DVB-T Diversity Stick by using the optional remote control,
the remote control should be aimed as directly as possible at the PCTV Dual DVB-T Diversity Stick
casing.
