IMPORTANT INFORMATION

· Only trained and authorized personnel are permitted to
install the extended antenna.
· SimonsVoss Technologies GmbH will not accept any
liability for damages caused by incorrect installation.
· Extended antennas that are incorrectly installed
may block the access through a door. SimonsVoss
Technologies GmbH is not liable for the consequences
of incorrect installation, such as blocked access to
injured or endangered persons, property damage or
other damages.

EXTENDED ANTENNA SREL.AV

The extended antenna is an accessory that you can use
in combination with an SREL.ADV Smart Relay. Use this
antenna if you need to lengthen the reading distance
(transponder to Smart Relay) without replacing the Smart
Relay. Typical applications are: extremely thick walls or
doors, relocation of the reading panel into a xed column,
etc.

INSTALLATION

· Shut off the Smart Relay's supply voltage (disconnect
the battery, if necessary)
· Connect the cable included with the device to the Smart
Relay's terminals according to the color-coding (see
gure).
· Turn supply voltage on again.
· Use an authorized transponder to test the functioning of
the Smart Relay.
