ENERGY-230 TAi
Il contatore Energy-230 TAi è un dispositivo elettronico statico per il conteggio di energia
attiva nei sistemi monofase destinato ad operare in ambienti con categoria di misura III e
grado di inquinamento 2 secondo la norma EN 61010-1.
AVVERTENZE DI SICUREZZA
Per garantire una corretta installazione, occorre rispettare le seguenti indicazioni:
1) L'apparecchio deve essere installato da persona qualificata
2) L'apparecchio deve essere installato in un quadro tale da garantire, dopo l'installazione,
la inaccessibilità ai morsetti
3) Nell'impianto elettrico a monte deI contatore di energia deve essere installato un
dispositivo di protezione contro le sovracorrenti
4) Collegare lo strumento seguendo gli schemi riportati a lato
5) Prima di accedere ai morsetti, assicurarsi che i conduttori da collegare allo strumento
non siano in tensione
6) Accedere ai dip-switch solo con lo strumento non alimentato
7) Non alimentare e collegare lo strumento se qualche parle di esso risulta danneggiata
8) Lo strumento deve essere installato e messo in funzione in conformità con la normativa
vigente in materia di impianti elettrici.

GUIDA ALL'lNSTALLAZIONE
1) Prima di installare lo strumento scegliere il rapporto di trasformazione corrispondente ai TA
utilizzati, secondo quanto riportato nel riquadro B)
2) I secondari dei TA possono essere collegati a terra
3) Lo strumento deve essere collegato come riportato nel riquadro C), rispettando i sensi
dell'energia dei TA
4) Perché l'errore risulti entro i limiti di classe dello strumento, è necessario utilizzare il
trasformatore di corrente nel suo campo di funzionamento lineare. Vedi riquadro D).
5) Se lo strumento è attivo, per cambiare il rapporto dei TA, è necessario prima togliere
l'alimentazione.
6) Nel caso di modifiche ai dip-switches con strumento acceso, questi si blocca in condizione
di errore con led verde e rosso sempre accesi. In questa condizione non avviene nessun
conteggio.
Per ripristinare il corretto funzionamento occorre riposizionare i dip-switches nella
condizione iniziale oppure resettare lo strumento togliendo e ridando alimentazione.

ACTIVE ENERGY METER
Read all the instructions carefully
The Energy-230 TAi is a electronic static device for counting active energy in single
phase systems designed to operate in environments with measurement category III and
pollution degree 2 according to EN 61010-1.
SAFETY WARNINGS
To guarantee correct installation, proceed as follows:
1) The appliance should be installed by a qualified operator
2) The appliance should be installed in a panel in such a way as to guarantee that the
terminals are inaccessible after fitting
3) A protection device against over-currents should be installed in the electrical
system, upstream of the energy meter
4) Connect the instrument as shown in the alongside diagrams
5) Before touching the connector terminals make sure that the wires to be connected or
already connected to the instrument are not live
6) Touch the dip-switches only when the instrument is not powered
7) Do not power or connect the instrument if any part of it is damaged
8) The instrument must be installed and activated in compliance with current electric
systems standards.

GUIDE TO INSTALLATION
1) Before installing the instrument, select the required transformation ratio, as shown in
panel B)
2) The CT secondaries may be connected to earth
3) The instrument should be connected as shown in the panel C), in accordance with the
CT energy directions
4) If the error is to fall within the class limits of the instrument, it is necessary to use the
current transformer in its linear operating field. See panel D).
5) If the instrument is active the power should be switched off to change the CT ratio.
6) In case of changes to the dip-switch with the instrument actived, these locks in fault
condition with red and green lights always on. In this condition the instrument doesn't
count.
To restore the correct operation, reposition the DIP switches in the initial condition or
reset the instrument by removing and restoring power.
