Handling
•
Carefully read the manual of the electrical
block and tackle SHZ 500.
•
Make sure that the tire is scotched and
secure.
•
Move the repair stand towards the tire so
as to gain an entry under the tire beads.
•
Move the repair stand into the tire in such
a way that the tyre rests evenly over its whole
width, on both the carrying rollers.
•
Lift the tire with the electrical block and
tackle to the necessary height and turn the tire
into the required position; moderately tighten
the brake screws by hand.
•
Always secure the lifting carriage against
slipping, while inserting the securing chain in
its tie plate.
•
Caution! When moving the repair stand
for long distances or on an uneven surface,
only lift the tire until it just clears the floor;
Move the repair stand to the place of work
(e.g. vulcanising machine) and then lift the tire
into the required position.
Maintenance
•
The steel cable and fastening parts
should be regularly checked for damage or
wear; e.g. breakage of individual wires, kinks,
if cable clamp and cable thimble are well
seated; see also attached manual and
checklist of electrical block and tackle.
•
Annually check the device for damage,
buckling, or rust and corrosion.
•
Immediately
defective parts.
•
Occasionally lubricate the guide rails of
the lifting carriage with universal grease.
