Symptom
The PowerPack doesn't jump start the vehicle PowerPack is not fully charged
PowerPack does not recharge
The low battery alarm sounds
The polarity alarm sounds
The plugged in appliance does not work

Cause
PowerPack battery has been damaged
Inverter switched on
The vehicle battery voltage is less than 1.5v Connect the 12v DC lead to both the PowerPack
Accessories connected to 12v DC socket
Inverter switched on
220/240v AC mains charger damaged
Not charged after previous use
Using 12v DC lead to recharge
Battery charge level low
The jump start cables are
connected incorrectly
Appliance rated at over
inverter rating 300W
Battery has discharged to 10v
40A fuse blown

Solution
Charge using 220/240v AC charger - 36 hours
Charge using 12v DC charger - 15 hours
Replace PowerPack battery: 1 x RPP117 (17Ah)
1 x RPP133 (33Ah)
Turn off inverter
and vehicle 12v DC socket for 15 minutes.
This may trickle charge the battery enough to
allow the vehicle to be jump started using the
normal procedure.
Disconnect accessories
Turn off inverter
Replace 220/240v AC mains charger: RPT50
The battery could possibly be damaged due to
not been recharged after previous uses.
Replace battery: 1 x RPP117 (17Ah)
1 x RPP133 (33Ah)
When using the 12v DC lead the charging lights
are not displayed. Press the battery status
button to check charge level.
Recharge PowerPack
Connect the jump start cables the correct way.
Disconnect and use only appliances rated at
below the inverter rating 300w or lower.
Recharge PowerPack
Replace fuse
